Christ the Redeemer
Because it is one of the best known places in Rio, the statue of Christ is probably the first thing to appear in anyone’s mind.
It’s not hard to find souvenirs around. However, an interesting and little talked about curiosity is that there is a chapel behind the statue that is very interesting and charming.
There are some ways to get to the monument: on foot, by car, bicycle, authorized vans or by train. The values vary according to the way chosen.

National Library
Considered one of the ten largest national libraries in the world and the largest in Latin America, it is one of the tourist attractions in RJ that you should visit.

Municipal theater

Mauá Square
The port area has several places to visit. The Museum of Tomorrow, which portrays the impact of human actions, uniting cultural activities and research for the study of the future.
Among other places are: Pedra do Sal, Museu de Arte do Rio, Mosteiro de São Bento and Cais do Valongo.
