Municipal Market

One of the most diverse tourist spots in São Paulo. The municipal market brings the visible plurality of Brazil.

Pinacoteca SP

Pinacoteca is a visual arts museum that houses about 30 exhibitions and aims to bring the public closer to the visual arts and its historical relevance.

It is the oldest art museum in São Paulo and its works focus on Brazilian productions by artists such as Almeida Junior, Antônio Parreiras and Pedro Alexandrino.

Ibirapuera Park

It has been considered the most visited park in Latin America and there are reasons for this. Besides being extremely pleasant, it is a cultural pole and has different attractions.

It’s great for sports and there are several places to visit there. The Manequinho nursery, the Japanese pavilion, the Oca building and the Brazilian culture pavilion are some examples that we can mention, as well as some museums.

Among those inside the park we can mention the Museum of Modern Art (MAM), the Afro Brazil Museum (MAB) and the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC).

Catavento Museum

This is a ride for all ages. The Catavento Museum has a cultural and educational character, having 250 different installations.

It is divided into four sections: universe, life, ingenuity and society. They were all designed to create different atmospheres according to each section.

It has a wide variety of attractions such as simulators, saltwater aquariums, butterfly and virtual reality rooms.

Neighbourhood of freedom

A neighborhood full of oriental references, composed mostly by Japanese descendants. During the year, different events take place that recall both Japanese and Chinese culture and even Korean culture.

The neighborhood itself does justice to the fame of one of the main tourist points of SP, because each corner of it has some peculiarity.

Art Museum of São Paulo

The MASP contains a collection of works that are considered the most important in the southern hemisphere. Its collection has been expanded through donations and partnerships.

Among these are works by artists such as Candido Portinari, Botticelli, Velázquez, Ticiano and Picasso. The museum also has a space for gastronomy.

A good example is the restaurant “A Baianeira”, which is underground in the museum and works with Brazilian cuisine.

Afro Brazil museum

A collection of works that explore the influence of African culture in Brazil. There are more than six thousand compositions among paintings, sculptures, photographs and documents.

Through them, themes such as work, religion, slavery and historical trajectory are approached. It also has an auditorium and a library to assist in cultural programming.
